1. Who we are and accepting these terms
Super Candy Labs (“Super Candy,” “we,” “us”) is a brand of Curbily LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. These terms cover supercandylabs.com and supercandylabs.vercel.app, the tongue scan, taste questions, candy matches, invites, texts and reservations (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
2. The bit
Super Candy Labs is a candy company. The “lab,” tongue scan and taste profile are an entertainment and marketing experience. Your profile, archetype, scores and match verdict are for fun and for our product planning. They are not a scientific, medical, nutritional or diagnostic assessment, and you shouldn’t rely on them for anything about your health.
3. Who can use it
You must be 13 or older to create an account or scan. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to place a reservation. Only people 18 or older can choose to save a scan photo.
4. Your account
Your account is tied to the email you enroll with; there’s no password. You can reopen it on another device with your email and birth year, or with the private report link we show you. Anyone with that link can open your report, so keep it to yourself. Give us accurate information and don’t create accounts for other people. You can delete your account at any time from your lab report (“Delete my account and data”) or by emailing aram.barnett@gmail.com.
5. Invites
Invite codes are personal and limited. Codes that are sold, spammed or posted for resale may be revoked. Don’t send invites to people who haven’t asked for one.
6. Your photos, answers and data
Scan photos. If you are 18 or older, the tongue photo from each scan is saved to our private research dataset by default. You can choose “Scan without saving my photo” on the scan screen, and you can delete saved photos at any time by deleting your account or emailing us. Photos from anyone under 18 are never saved.
You own your photos and answers. For saved scan photos, and whenever you answer taste questions, rate candies or pick favorites, you give Curbily LLC a worldwide, royalty-free license to store and use that content to run the Service, research taste, design and improve our candies and our scanner, and develop models and tools for those purposes, including with the help of AI service providers. We won’t publish your photo or use it in advertising without asking you first. The license ends for your photo and identifiable data when you delete your account, except for aggregated or de-identified results (for example, “62% of sour lovers also love crunch”) that can’t be tied back to you.
7. Candy matches and paid links
Candy matches are suggestions based on your profile, answers and ratings. When you tell us about allergies or diets we leave out candies we know are built around them, but we are not an allergen database: recipes change and factories share lines, so always read the label before eating anything. Some links to retailers such as Amazon, Walmart and specialty candy shops are paid links: we may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Purchases you make from a retailer are between you and that retailer.
8. CandyBench and Lab Notes
CandyBench scores and Lab Notes are our opinions and research, published for fun and information. Scores marked preliminary are ratings from our lab panel, not measurements.
9. Texts
If you give us your mobile number and agree to texts, we send about 2 messages a month about drops and your reservation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Curbily LLC does not sell, rent or share your mobile number, SMS opt-in or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
10. #TongueCheck posts
If you submit a post link, you confirm it’s your content and let us repost it with credit. Posts made for bonus invites should include #ad or the platform’s paid-partnership label.
11. Reservations
- A reservation is a one-time $20 payment, processed by Stripe. There is no subscription.
- It is credited in full toward one Preview Model #01 bar from Batch 01.
- It is refundable in full at any time before your bar ships. Email aram.barnett@gmail.com with your reservation number.
- Batch 01 is estimated to ship in 2027. We will email you a firm ship date before we ship. If we can’t ship by the date we give you, we will ask whether you want to wait or get a full refund, and refund you automatically if we don’t hear back.
- Recipe, flavor and packaging may change before release. If the final bar changes materially from what’s described, you can cancel for a full refund.
12. Ingredients, allergens and disclosures

Facility and cross-contact statements are confirmed with our manufacturing partner before shipping and shown on your order.

- Product images are concept renders of a prototype. The final bar, packaging and flavor may differ.
- The ingredient list is a prototype formulation. The final ingredient and allergen statement is sent to you before your bar ships; if it changes in a way that matters to you, cancel for a full refund.
- No artificial (petroleum-based) dyes: colors come from fruit, vegetable and spirulina extracts.
- Your $20 reservation is a one-time charge, credited in full toward your bar and refundable any time before it ships. Batch 01 is estimated to ship in 2027; we'll email you a firm date before it ships.
- Reservations are for ages 18+ or with a parent or guardian's permission.
13. Our content
The Super Candy Labs name, logo, designs, text, the scan experience and CandyBench belong to Curbily LLC. Don’t copy or resell them. Other brands and candies we mention belong to their owners, and mentioning them doesn’t mean they endorse us.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We use third-party services, including AI providers, that may produce inaccurate or incomplete results. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Curbily LLC, its members, employees and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on candy matches or allergen filters. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (for most people, $0 or your $20 reservation).
15. Ending things
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or abuse invites.
16. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Delaware, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
